i have yet to find an american radio program that even comes CLOSE to touching radio1. MAH has been on the cutting edge of electronic music for YEARS now AND she’s on BBC, which is pretty damn mainstream. Kudos MAH. But i agree, less talky, more glitchy!

Bullshit is about all her talent is.
The media build up artists like Lotus to get people to watch and listen to there shows and unfortunetly for artist like Lotus the end up being hyped out because they cant live up to the expectation, comparing him to jimi Hendrix being a prime example. Less of the talking and a bit more of the listening me thinks.

OK she’s not exactly pirate - but still manages to introduce a lot of material to people who otherwise wouldn’t hear it. Of course R1 plays the corporate game but they do good stuff too. John Peels was one of the greatest radio shows ever; nobody told him what to play.
