Method Man split his childhood/teenage years between Long Island and Staten Island. Prodigy from Mobb Deep is originally from Long Island, and LL Cool J split his childhood between there and Queens. Grand Puba is from New Rochelle, not Long Island. Everlast was born in Long Island but lived most of his life out in Cali. And yes, EPMD, De La Soul, Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes, Craig Mack, MF Doom, Keith Murray, Biz Markie, Freddie Fox and RA the Rugged Man etc are from Long Island.
